About.

Brother of the bandits Baron Flynt and Captain Flynt who began his life of violence as a teen, Zane left them to join a black ops mercenary unit and has since become one of the most capable operatives in the galaxy, doing odd jobs for the highest bidder.

Having taken every kind of mercenary and assassination job there is, Zane found it increasingly difficult to enjoy a moment's peace due to so many people wanting him dead.

He traveled to Pandora to lay low for a while, where he was recruited into the Crimson Raiders to assist in their battles against the Children of the Vault.

First Impressions.

Visual: Zane is tall and aggressively lean, conventionally attractive in that "scruffy silver fox" sort of way. His hair and beard are more grey than light blond hair these days, though people often guess him younger than his actual years. His body shows the scars of a mercenary's life, although they're pretty tame by Pandoran standards. His outgoing nature and confident swagger, especially when he's fighting or drinking, often belies the honed control he has over himself, a fact he has many times used to his advantage.

Aural: Zane speaks with a distinct and prominent (space) Irish accent, replete with quips like "You couldn't hit a cow's arse with a banjo!" Character Intro Trailer (YouTube)

Fashion: Zane wears a high-collared bodysuit underneath an armored short jacket, pants and boots, allowing him the maximum amount of dexterity. On the back of the jacket is an inverted spider, and the armor has cyan and yellow inset lights. He wears gloves with his thumb and trigger finger exposed, gun holsters, and a cybernetic implant in place of his left eye.

Demeanor: "He can walk into any bar and someone would want to hug him, and someone would want to kill him." To most, Zane has every appearance of someone who simply loves his life (and himself), who finds excitement and satisfaction in his chosen line of work, and who enjoys the company of happy people and competent rivals. Yet despite his seemingly rowdy exterior Zane is identified in several sources as a loner, likely due to his trust issues. At one point when he thinks Maurice is about to betray him, he laments that "every time [he] lets [his] guard down around someone, this happens!" suggesting that he's had such betrayals in the past.

Relationships: Pansexual. He's married in not one, "but in a couple of planetary systems" although he does not provide further details.
